NOIA SILENZIO
The "Noia - Silenzio" series was born in 2021. Starting from the research carried out on the use of written pages used as a support ("Liquid"; "Antitesi"), the "Noia -Silenzio" series carries out a more incisive reasoning on the very nature of the support. The page (thus the words or images printed on it) are totally erased by black, white or blue paint. The cancellation of words and the sound of words, creates a new uniformity ("Noia") understood as a creative void and "possibility." Circles of varying size and format ("Silenzio") are placed on this renewed surface. The regular geometry of pages, now monochrome, juxtaposed with each other also becomes the prerequisite for studying the potential and aesthetic possibilities of the grid.
