ROOTS
The "Roots" series was created in 2020. The investigation consists of a series of elements taken from the natural world, specifically branches, roots and tree fragments, subsequently modified by a blue-colored pictorial intervention. The branches, roots and, more generally, the different extensions of a tree, represent infinite possibilities of development arising from a unitary element. Starting from the assumption of uniqueness, inherent in each individual form taken, the action aims to highlight a possible reunion between man and nature through an alteration or protection of the form itself. Following this dual gaze, the sculptures reveal a quest that originates in listening to and exploring the existing where a minimal modification on the material manages to make visible a profound bond that seems lost.
