LIQUID
The "Liquid" series was born in 2018. It is the artist's first production.
The research aims to make "visible" some reflections the artist makes on the individualism of contemporary society where social relations are condemned to be fluid and elusive. The series consists of nuclei of single pages, hived off from their original support (old books) and altered from their function, employed by the artist as original and renewed supports with which to enter into dialogue. The operation consists of applying (by means of acrylic paint) blue circular shapes (a metaphor for the liquidity, mobility and instability of human beings) that "float" between the written words on the pages. The result is contrasting. The freedom and lightness of the circles undermine the solidity of the written words placed within typographic cages.
